The Spark That Started It All

Bug Vortex wasn’t born in a lab. It started in a backyard — one summer evening, with a few friends, some grilled burgers, and the uninvited guests that ruined everything: mosquitoes.

Our founder (an engineer with two kids and a golden retriever) had enough. He was tired of:

  • Spraying his family with sticky repellents

  • Breathing in toxic coils

  • And hearing his children complain every night about itchy bites

But most of all? He was tired of choosing between comfort and safety.

So he got to work.
